For the last year I have been running behind. :p However, I thought it would be cool to post the pictures from last year right before this years show. Although, there are pros and cons with both.

Around this time last year was the 24th annual Denver Knife Show. Formerly known as the PKA show, but as of this year the PKA(Professional Knifemaker's Association) is no more. It's now just called the Denver Knife Show and is currently being ran by Craig Camerer.

I love this show. It's not a huge show, but there is a solid base of collectors and makers that attend the show.

The attendance was pretty steady, much like the year before. There seemed to be a little more people this year, but it was hard to tell. There was demonstrations going on outside, so the flow of people was in and out.

I sold everything, but my lower end work moved super fast, where I held on to my higher end for a few hours.

I should probably note that I was never at my table, as I had a photography booth set up taking pictures. Now that was an eye opener. I definitely see why Coop and Chuck Ward have people running knives back and forth. Also, why they stick to just one thing while they are at a show. Luckily, I had Brit running my knife table, but I was worn out just from running knives back and forth.

This years show will be in a few days. August 18, 19, & 20, 2017. I'm curious to see how/if it is different than previous years. I will definitely be posting a thread on that after this weekend.

I have normal knife pictures and show pictures coming in a few!

Cool show. I love that there's so many awards. I hope I can maybe be a part of the 2018 one. Thanks for the photos

I just saw the ad for the show, and it turns out my weekend is free - bachelor weekend while the wife and kiddo are out of town. I will be at this year's show.

Thanks, Logan....looks like a great show and it's 100 miles closer than Atlanta....for me anyway.

See you in KC...
