Can anyone tell me what kind of anvil this is?
It is about 140 lb on the bathroom scale, and it looks like it says Sweden at the bottom.
Just trying to find out what I have here..

Thanks!

It is a swedish pattern anvil. I am pretty sure it is a kohlswa. They are cast steel and good anvils. On the other side it may have more info. Because it is cast steel, it can be milled or dressed down.

edited for spelling of kohlswa

Nothing at all on the other side that I can see. but it looks like it has been painted a few times. Wire wheeling the thing a good idea?

Kolshwa for sure. They are notoriously hard & chipped edges are common.
With its narrow waist & elongated horn, looks like one of their Farrier style anvils. An excellent tool.
Feel free to wirewheel away.
Perhaps flapwheel its face & lightly blunt its sharp edges.

Cleaned up pretty nice
Amazing what an hour with a wire wheel can do.
Definitely a Kohlswa.

Use an angle grinder to round those chipped edges. You can then use them for forging curves, as well as steps in tangs.
