Anyone Have the Cold Steel Benchtop Knife Sharpener?

I'm looking for a great knife sharpener.

Just don't know anything about this one. For example, is the blue base metal or plastic? And how sturdy is the carrying case? Is it fairly easy to use and do you need a phone to gauge the angle as with some knife sharpeners?



Thanks for any info.
 
I'd be interested to know too, I've never seen that one before. I've seen their cheaper ones. I just have always used a stone or one of those easy sharpeners on cheap knives.
 
I envy those who can freehand sharpen and have bought some real losers, like the CRKT Slide Sharp. Some people like them, but I'm not a fan.
