I've had this BDC from Lachhu for some time and often bring it out back with me. It is a really nice size for my needs and despite its length has some heft to it, so it makes a suitable chopper for smaller branches. We have been under a burn ban down here in Florida up until last week, when heavy rains came through. Today I had a chance to do some fire starting in the mud. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking

That's awesome. The BDC looks like a cross between an M43 and a Dui Chirra to me. What's the length and weight on it if you don't mind me asking?

The spine is .3", the overall length is 14". There is 8" of cutting edge up to the notches and without considering any recurve geometry.

Comes in at .6 kg or 1.2 lb on my scale!

IMG_9870.JPG That's a beautiful knife. I've got one by Lachhu also that's approximately 12 3/4". I love it!
