I left Thursday morning with 24 knives to put on my table;
and the 11 knives above are all that are left.
Thank you all for the support and patronage.

If you have any questions comment here or email me.

Thanks

Was a pleasure seeing you and the wife and buying my super thin 10v slicer.

I was looking at your Big Chris Facebook page and I saw a photo of the clipped EDC(?) shown above that was also on your table at Blade. On Facebook you stated the the steel used was 10V. What is the thickness on that sample and how does 10V compare to other steels like 0-1, A2, D2, 52100 or even PSF 27? Both performance wise as well as stain/corrosion resistance?

The Clipped point knife with the Black/Grey G10 I call my Bowie EDC.
10V is an awesome steel.
It is basically the King of edge holding.
I find that the corrosion resistance is better than O1 or 52100.
I am not very good at oiling or caring for the knives that I am using.
I do make sure to wipe the blade off and try to dry before sliding into the sheath.
PSF27 has much better stain resistance though due to the much higher percentage of Chromium.
I use a lot of 10V, run it hard at 64-65 Rc, and grind the edges thin.
That particular knife is made from .135" 10V, 9.45" OAL, 4.87" Blade.
Let me know if you have any other questions.

It was a pleasure seeing you again as well.
Aside from the Big Bowie the knife you purchased was my favorite on the table.
I hope that it serves you well and that you get lots of use from it.

Chris, I'm going to swipe the bottom kitchen knife photo for a "Kitchen Knives of BLADE 2017" article I'm working on, if you don't mind.
