Hello,
After looking at the spyderco meerkat (go check out a photo), it got me thinking how the clip attaches. I personally love a good deep carry clip. I understand that lots of people prefer a higher carry. Spyderco fans have been debating the implementation of a factory deep carry clip for some time. I have a suggestion for Sal and spyderco crew.
The groove cut into the handle to accommodate the deep wire clip on the meerkat is brilliant. It seems to me that a similar groove could be cut into almost any standard 3-hold clip mount. This would enable the user to attach either a standard clip or a deep wire clip. It would be awesome if spyderco could include this type of groove on most knives and possibly even provide two clips with each knife, or at least make the wire clip available for purchase.
What do my fellow spyderco fans think?
