Hi,
I just found out today that the federal govt. banned import and or/sale of all butterfly knives,
# of my major distributors have none in stock and don't plan on having any more because of some new ban classifying them with switch blades????
Any news on this??

Apparently banning the import of butterfly knives is old news (according to Wikipedia at least) ...the banning the sale of it is new to me though, although I know that various states have them outlawed, I haven't heard anything about it on a federal level yet.

Let us know if you find anything though!
 
Meanwhile there's no shortage of china made switchblades flooding through customs and making it to market. It would be nice to see some common sense applied here....
