For a "Special Offer." The last several I've picked have not been too good, any ideas? I need to find one that will bring in some new orders, or the next step is to stop taking orders.
maybe a kitchen knife made from AEB-L? (it's cheaper than O1)
3-3.5" paring/utility with 4.5" handle made from 3/32" or 1/8" stock in the 3/4-1" wide range?
or a 5" santoku style chef knife 1.5" tall no more than 1/8" thick with a high saber or convex grind?
maybe a 4" cleaver - 3" tall by 5/32 or 3/16" stock?
HT without cryo loses 3-4 points of hardness, but you can still hit 57-59 RC pretty easy. (with a -95f quench you get 59-62)
I have an AEB-L knife I could loan you to play with if you want to see how tough the edge is/how well it holds.
