We scored a D2 EDC on the last sale. We came in dead last place!! Thank You Nathan and Jo for adding a few EDC's to the mix, so we could get one.

Here she is basking in the sun with new carbon fiber holstex sheath.

Thank You Silver, I have been edc'ing it ;) It really cuts like a laser, and has very nice ergo's.

Even though we will use this for sheaths, it will remain on my belt until, well probably a long time. ;)
The D2 combo just works for me.

Ever since I saw this awesome looking tan carbon fiber sheath, I've been in the "GOTTA HAVE ONE!" mode, no better way to describe it than just "way cool".

What do you use the nylon strap for? Is it also for pocket carry? I saw a pocket sheath that had a similar but shorter solution to remain in the pocket when you draw the knife... But I'm not sure it works with high retention kydex?

^^^ Been thinking about ordering one in black CF. I'm just trying to figure out the best combination for pocket carry, secure retention and easiest deployment from denim's pocket carry.

Casino, just a plain sheath works great in the pocket. I like to keep them inverted, to minimize debris going in.
I can build a hybrid drop loop or dangler, with the amount of drop you need.

I've been carrying mine, horizontal at 12 o'clock with a leather loop. Concealed under my shirt, it's always ready.
 
Mat, I can tell you retention is perfect. If I get another sheath it would be strapless, and carrying in the pocket would be no problem, at least for me.

Californians need to be aware, though, that carrying sheath only with knife, in pocket, would probably be seen as a felony concealment, since the law seems to require only open carry of fixed blades that are in, around, on the belt. No problem though if concealed carry permit.

But you probably already know all that.
