The handle looks great. There's a white outline around the blade. Is that due to scanning or is it like that?

Looks like a wavy line around the tip of the blade. Is it part of the pattern?

It is caused from the scan, blade is polished.

This knife has excellent lines. Too bad the picture makes the blade look ragged. I really like the old time look to the handle.
