Can anyone confirm or refute if either past and/ or present Cold Steel models are made in TAIWAN?

L8r,

Kin,
I'd heard that too. Sounds reasonable enough, but I can't verify. The production quality has gotten a bit better in Taiwan.

At the Cold Steel website it gives a complete list of which product is produced where. They have knives being produced in the US, Japan and Taiwan. For a complete list go here:http://www.coldsteel.com/qnatext.html#anchor238142

Hope it helps.

Thanks Maskwa. Haven t been to their site insome time. Both are designated as Japanese made. BUT I wonder if earlier models were from Taiwan.
