So far I have narrowed down my collection down a lot. I have also preselected each knife that I kept to serve a specific purpose within a portable bug out survival back pack.

Here are pictures of what items and brands I have kept so far.

This post will be ongoing and it will slowly come together to help others choose well designed items to take with them within a survival situation.

All input would be greatly accepted, tops and advise will be taken with open arms. ( as long as each response is constructive and not critical in a negative way ).

Let's help each other and try to come up with the most affordable,we'll built, and readily available items to include in a list for everyone to share.

Good luck and thanks for reading.

Here are some pics of what I have so far.

I will list brands and models in the following post that will come asap.

just off the top, I'd drop about half what you have there and replace some things with a few other items. having more than one item can be a good idea as for a backup, but I'd take two knives (one of which would likely be the multitool) or at least just a fixed and a folding with the multitool... any more is just excess weight. maybe bring a spare light instead of 4 spare knives. A good roll up siltarp and some cordage could make all the difference in a comfortable night sleep and shivering soaked to the bone under a pile of sticks. Also thinning down what you have could leave open space for things that could help you out, like a first aid kit, a fire starter and a spare, water filtration kit. they come as small as your 9mm reloading tool... I doubt you'll be firing enough ammo in a survival situation to worry about blisters while bombing up. maybe a good roll up solar panel to charge things like phones or batteries. a wind up radio perhaps. ya gotta think of what you may need to survive out of your bug out bag. not saying you're not out to a good start, but you've got 10 ways to cut things and nothing to eat... I'd rethink a few things. just a thought

Need some candy, benadryl, condoms, paracord, notepad, scissors, gauze, betadine, extra clothes, passport, money, emergency blankets, burner phone.

The book 98.6 degrees has some other suggestions.
