I don't mind very minor wear marks, I agree, these will accrue with use of the knife, but that sort of clip should have been stock with the knife, not for an additional $16.

Seems it is not worth it.

You'd want something more for extra.

You should ask EKI to make better bling.
 
Hmmm well I thought about calling them and asking them for a better looking clip, but not sure it would be worth the hassle
 
I think both my roadhouse and horseman came with the clip basically looking like that. I kind of like it, but I completely get what you're saying.
 
I did call and talk to them, they said the clips are made out of house and they look good covered in oil nice and glossy but with out it they all have that sort of look, not sure if its true but
