Did you eat the Gar? Many moons ago we used to eat quite a bit of Gar. Gigged them from a canoe and roasted them in the coals.

No, bought them from Mike Martinez already glued to a backer and stabilized. But have eaten quite a bit of gar, we catch them small,bout a foot long and skin them and fry.
