A strip and slight change in profile of a Buck 104.

I like it.

If I were to do it, I'd lower the whole spine. Flatten it out so it is more in line with the back of the handle. Give it a giant Sodbuster look :p.

I like the new shape, but I'm partial to drop point blades... I also like it better without the red coating. It's too bad you couldn't save all of the blade markings though.

Thanks for your visit here 338. I like drop points too.
But this type that drops down too far I don't like. DM

It looks to be from the photo. It doesn't state anything about the grind in the catalog. DM

I appreciate everyones comments and feedback. Hopefully it has encouraged someone else to try similar mods with the Buck 104? It would be interesting to me to see what other people would do.

Thanks David. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I still pop in from time to time. It seems these days I am all over the place :D

Interesting modification. A very different looking blade.

I like my 104 the way it is. The red too.
