So I had Scott make me two of my "dream knife" -- one for storage (brown handle) and one for use (black handle). Here is the original thread:

For the user I needed a sheath. Once I assessed that this knife would be too heavy for belt carry I then came across this thread showcasing a large Bill Siegle blade in a custom baldric sheath made by Bladeforums own River 8:

I contacted River 8 and told him I liked the style of sheath depicted with the Siegle but I wanted a bit smaller pouch. We spoke at length and the final product arrived at my house a week ago.

IT IS AWESOME!

Talk about a dream sheath to go with my dream knife!

Let's begin!

Here is the overall sheath.

Sheath being worn. Note the way the sheath can be adjusted without taking it off. SUPER cool. Yes I am in my pajamas taking the picture in the bathroom mirror. :D

Rear of sheath. Note multiple attachment points for maximum flexibility.

Pouch seals with two fastex buckles.

Note single snap that takes the pouch in to ensure nothing falls out.

Retention snap open.

Retention snap closed.

Pouch dimensions.

Izula 2 poking its head out.

Additional straps are included for multiple carrying options.

Overall I could not be more pleased.

Thank you River 8!

I've seen one of those somehwere before...

River 8 is the man for sure. He does great work. Super useful and comfortable.

Go for it Scott, I have one of his sheaths for a BK9 and it makes belt carry comfortable and the pouch holds a basic 10 essentials well.
Good lookin knife too

Speaking of the Gosshawk...can you post some pics Scott? Especially one in hand. I know I handled it, but I've forgotten.
