LMAO....Your wife was the only one on FB, couldn't find you. I figured it was the fastest way to get ahold of you. I think it's Singlegrind, I found on FB too. He's the one with the snakes, right? Don't worry what's on BF , stays on BF...

Yea, Hawaii is super, here for 2 weeks. I promised this vacation to my wife for about 5 years. I was almost gone for 6 years running my own business, sold it, took a year off, and now I have a regular job again, I decided to keep my promise, it just happened to land on my birthday, but it's a nice bonus, ya know?

Thanks for the bday wish, much appreciated.

We need to break bread one day, maybe in Reno, visiting auntie?
 
Folks tell me Facebook is not ready for bawanna. Wife said it would be fine if I could look and keep up with stuff but not be able to write anything.
I guess some folks don't feel the truth is politically correct or something.

Our day will come. My wife (you know her from Facebook) pointed out that last week was the week we're normally in the land of Auntie. I think it was last week, maybe the week before.

She did say that you posted like 46 pictures from Hawaii and 43 or them involved food of some sort. You enjoy eating I presume?

Yea, FB is basically BS, you tell the truth, and ummm....let's just say, drama can get pretty ugly.

I post alot of pics of food, I like to eat...:D

We do activities too, but I'm not a beach person. We are looking at condos though, wife wants a vacation home here, I told her if the price is right, I'll think about it. The cost isn't too bad, it's the HOA's that'll get you. If we stay out of Waikiki, I think maybe it can be affordable. If we do get it, we'll be renting it out for vacations to our friends.
 
Did you end up buying a place in Tahoe?

You must be richer than Davy Crocket to buy a house you don't even live in? Definitely the other side of the tracks from me.
 
No Tahoe. It was too expensive, and we felt that the real estate agent wasn't watching our best interest, but her own pocketbook.

Not rich, but well off, I made some good decisions, as an independent contractor in my not so long ago younger days, and I got lucky. I sold my company for a good sum, and after paying off the investors, my hard work and no sleep for the past 6 years came to fruition.
 
I gotta come up with some good decision so I can get me some of that fruition.

I guess I'll have to break it to the wife easy like, she wanted to go to Tahoe next time and I told her we'd stay at your house.

Or you can tell her I guess.
 
Well, not Tahoe, but if we get a place in Hawaii, you always more than welcome!

If you stay in Tahoe, it's cheaper to stay at Harvey's Casino, rather than at a hotel or motel, just sayin.
 
Wife has been to Hawaii many times, ready to go again anytime. She was hoping Clint would get based there. Although the pictures he sent from Advanced Infantry training don't look anything like most visitors pictures.
I've never been there myself and most likely won't. I don't like to fly and I don't think the ole van would make it across the big water.
