Working our way up one of the ridges. Note pictures start on page 3. My brother in law behind me only has 2 fingers on one hand!!! Chop saw got him.

It was 85 degrees in the Hudson Valley on July 2. That Granite was hot!!!! Time for the lifestraw and some serious hydration.

Thanks Xr6x its been 4 day's and my thighs still hurt lol. Planning the next hike for the Devils pass 22 miles by Hunter mountain with a overnight camp.
 
Looks like a lot of fun. I couldn't have made it, haha.

By the way, you can post like 20 photos per post, instead of one photo per post.
 
I'm fortunate to live next to a small airport that calls two P51s, a ME109, Stearman, and on occasion a P47 its home. The wife and I have a habit of going for walks around the fence line. Nice wooded area next to the aerodrome and we can see the planes and gliders over the field. Today we spotted a different wing creature. A nice wild turkey hen. If you look down to her lower right just off her tail you can see a little chick. There was two chicks but the other one hid along the fence.
