Kind Of Cool

They are really fun to see ... here in Iowa around Boone they have a senic tour ride on steam engine ... I remember riding it as a kid ... the only mistake we nade was sittin in an open air car back then and getting soot all over us much to mom's dismay .. but us kids loved it.
 
Very cool. I remember ridding the Durango steam train in Colorado when I was young. I still have a chunk of coal that they used to fire it.
 
Nice video! My wife recently took the train back from San Francisco. Nice scenery through the Sierra's and Rockies but she's not ready to repeat the 33hr trip anytime soon.
 
That is awesome - I love trains!

I used to take my son out to the Santa Fe tracks to take pictures of the Southwest Chief.
