LB8 With LB7 Blade & Odd Serial Number

I have read a lot of past discussions about identifying LB8's with LB7 blades but still don't have a clear idea of which is my knife. As shown in pictures attached, there is no etching on the blade and the serial number is VA029. Other than the lack of etching, it sounds like a limited edition Dixie Virginia. I have owned it about 6 years so it is possible the blade was replaced by a prior owner or that it was an end of days melding, but want to make sure I'm not missing anything. Any thoughts? BTW this is the first time I have posted pictures using a Google Photos link, so if it doesn't work, please let me know and I will try something else. Thanks.
