Leatherman Sheath

I just finished this last night. My brother's leatherman sheath died, so I made him a new one. I used some of the suggestions from my other thread. Instead of dying, I went with Mr. Horsewright's suggestion of neatsfoot oil and nature. Also used Mr. Graley's idea of a power sander for the edges. Thank you gentlemen for sharing your knowledge. Its a big help to beginners.







I used this mold that I made to form the leather. It worked out pretty well.

Thank You. I borrowed the mold idea from Ian Atkinson. Sort of an experiment. Lots of time for a one-off, but a good learning experience.
 
Looks great! Always nice to have a good mold, especially if you plan on making many of the same piece. I haven't bothered making any proper molds myself yet, so far I've only used the actual item as a mold and framed it with a cut out old plastic cutting board. :D

Nice job! I too like the mold idea. You're gonna have to make more now that you have the set up.
