The Minion is a great EDC/utility blade that looks as good as it cuts! The Minion makes a great neck knife or pocket fixed blade.
The blade is made from .125" 1095 steel, hardened to 60 HRC for excellent edge retention. I performed all heat treating operations.
The blade features a full flat grind and a tapered tang. The greatly enhances the balance, and makes for a very nimble piece. The edge was about .005" thick prior to sharpening. This is a highly optimized cutter!
The blade is satin finished.
The handle is extremely comfortable in any grip. The handle is a nylon wrap over genuine green sting ray skin.
