Mnandi clip tension

Is there any method of reducing the clip tension on a Mnandi without harming the clip? Being machined it's a lot tougher than bending a Sebenza clip.
 
Cut a series of fine slits in the underside of it using a hacksaw or sawzall.
 
I'll look for other methods or remove the clip.

To not be a smart ass, I do know what you are talking about. IMO, the Mnandi clip tension is a bit tight if you are clipping it to any clothing with a substantial thickness (jeans, etc....). I think the lack of responses in your thread is probably because no one has really messed with the thicker clip of the Mnandi. I am interested though.
 
I don't have this problem, but if I did...my thought would be to force the clip over something like a thick piece of leather multiple times (perhaps many times) to see if it would "loosen up".
 
I'll carry it without the clip. The clip works fine for shirt pockets and plackets though.
