picked up a machined aluminum centerpin Trophy XL mooching reel for 200 AND A 10.5 FT FENWICK iM8 mooching rod for 100
man that reel will free spin for 7 seconds, so smooth with a wicked drag

my youngest brother picked up a 17ft welded aluminum Prince craft with dual electric down riggers and now I have a good setup instead of my old clunky Diawafrom my dad

expecting some good salmon this year!

it is...salmon on a single action reel and a long limber rod with enough backbone......need a good drag with the long runs

Sounds like a good score on the gear Brad. I like the moochers - lots a fun fighting fish. I'm looking forward to getting out on the chuck again this summer too. For now I just have a couple of the Diawa mooching reels.
