He owns a jewelry shop here in Fresno, CA. This is the guy who sold me my Rolex. He makes his own damascus and does engraving. I thought I'd show off some of his work. The last 2 pics are a Lile from his personal collection.

Any chance he used to own a shop in Visalia? I visited a jewelry shop a number of years ago and the proprietor sold really nice knives, some from local ABS Mastersmith Mike Vagnino.

I'll have to ask but he is a friend of MV.

He also sold a number of Ray Laconico knives (also a Visalia res).
Yeah ask, the shop I went to was partly what got me interested in high end work. :)

I met Ray at a hammer in at the College in 2012. I also am friends with Chris Perry.

I just talked to him. He doesn't know the guy you are speaking of.

Here's his first liner lock flipper, almost finished.

I prefer Adone's work.

Never heard of him. This is not my style of interest in customs. I do know that my friend spent a lot of time with Bill Coffee (sp?) on this project.

Hate to bump an old thread, but Bill was at the Civil War Reenactment in Fresno this last weekend, was able to check out his knives and engraving. His Damascus looks top-notch  He had a great display set up.

I'll be dropping by the Hammer-In on Saturday. He'll be there.
