Some sneak peek of sheaths made by Grogimus. More photos to be added later. OEM sheaths also added in the mix for reference. Picture heavy!

Firstly, the venerable LC:

Congrats CS!! Grogimus sure knows how to make some masterpieces...

that's some nice kit!

Seeing the sheaths fully finished is even better than seeing the initial designs. Wow, I've loved the art, but I really like these final colors as well.

Great work, Grog!

Enjoy them, Casino

Yup, Grog does not mess around with using inferior dyes just like he does not use lower quality / lower cost leather. Worst thing would be for the leather to get wet and then the blade steel / handles take on a different color because of the moisture penetration / wetness. In Grog I trust :)

Plus the artwork alone gives my CPKs unique identities.

They're all great. Over time, I've seldom uaed leather sheaths. Now and then, I need a sheath and luckily have a great leather guy right here in our small little town. But yeah, those all look great.

WOW! I've got some practicing to do..............

Some awfully kind words fellas, thank you. I was lucky to have somebody like that silly bastard Casinostocks (no malice intended, he is a silly bastard, and a great guy) confident enough in my fledgling leather work that he was willing to go in on a project like this. It was not a quick or inexpensive thing to get done, and I was lucky that he was so patient and upbeat about the whole process. It was important to me that the fundamentals were rock solid and that it would be a tough, serviceable sheath for each of them. The carvings are functionally superfluous but I had this idea for a set of sheaths as soon as the EDC design was announced, I'm tickled pink that it saw the light of day. Couldn't go to a better set of knives either.

Thanks man. They didn't need dragons to be good sheaths I don't think.. but if you can add dragons.. you should always add dragons. It's a treat to hear something positive from the designer of these awesome knives, thank you.

Nice work Grog.

Just quoting that because it makes me feel good. Can't wait to get more of your knives to use and make some sheaths that will make Tolkien geeks happy. (Not judging, I am one.)

Considering the quality level of knives you have and see, I'm not embarrassed to say I just about fell out of my chair when I read that. Thank you very much. I don't hate, or even dislike Kydex. It doesn't have a long shelf life from what I've seen though, it cracks and blisters and loses retention in the sunlight. It's much better for a short shelf life though, if you're ok with the blade getting scratched. If I were dealing in high end awesomeness knives like you show I would have Paul Long on speed dial. He is pretty much everything I want to become in my leather working path.
