Totally a case of the "buy both"- struggled with ordering a dirk or bush beater, went with the dirk and after a little found myself with a couple extra $$ and "Hi Christof, what about another blade..."

That is the smaller blade too! :) muwaaahaaahaaahaaaaa

Looks like those Sgian Dubhs have the Lief seal of approval!

(And I can see why. Nice! Those pins are very cool.)

Tell me more about the little one it´s tempting I think I need to spend some money ;-)

leeetle one is a "slim finn"

and I'm making a few more of them right now. I'm also working on two of the really small ones like my maple EDC

another buku sized Alaskan that someone ordered:

not something I normally do, but I wanted to try this one. The amount of time that goes in is about the same as making a knife in the end!

Still- minus final stropping and cleanup, here's a modded condor. if anyone wants to get into the modding business on these I can email pointers :p

Grind brought back 3/8 of an inch or so. Handle replaced with micarta and extended a touch forward. Grind angle reduced (for reference, on a blade this thick, I'd just as soon do a full convex zero or a flat grind with a final bevel.)

The grey coating on the flats won't hold up to the work involved, so it just has to come off. once you do that, you have to pull a bit of 320 and 400 to get a really clean forge finish up
