Found this sharpening steel made by Klein tools. Very much like the old Gerber steel although this has 3 grits if I remember correctly. I plan to wrtie up a review after I try it out. Anyone else have one?

No, but I'm very interested to hear your results. I've been looking for a portable, flat steel for a long time...not a round one.

Just got it yesterday. So far it's looks like a keeper. Made in the USA. Tungsten carbide coating. I tried it out alittle and so far works real well.

I googled it...looks like it has several different grit levels on it right? Are any of them just smooth or very close to smooth like a Spyderco white rod? One last question, how big is it in hand?

Thank you Scott!!

Mike, I got it from Amazon, about 43 bucks shipped. Unless I can get them wholesale, I won't be selling them.
Collin, the round sides are coarse, the flats are smooth.
