I just received this monster. Extremely well made for the price. Perfect action, sharp blade , perfectly centered, big and heavy. Just what I wanted.

It doesn't look like Kizer's rep has been here in quite some time. Does anyone know if the pivot collar here is titanium?

pretty sure it's aluminum like a few other recent models, that looks aluminum blue to me

Second question is whether the pivot color has the same dimensions as the more recent non-flipper black-out version.

I imagine that it does but I'm still only partway on the fence for getting two of these to do a pivot-collar swap.

A better question is whether or to what extent the scales and hardware are interchangeable between these two.
