One of my recent favorites - Turritella on a Buck 110

It seems I may be the only one visiting this site daily still so I figure I might as well put up some threads about favorite works. I just recently used the last slabs I had of good fossilized Turritella from Wyoming. I had another big piece but unfortunately when I slabbed it last week it was full of flaws so I don't think I can get any Buck 110's and it was not as good a color as the last ones I used on this knife.

So, this may be the last one I do in Turritella and it really looks awesome. I don't know if the owner ever comes to this site either.

Michael, wanted you to know you've been an inspiration to me. I love rocks and am just breaking into lapidary work but needed something other belt buckles and bolo ties. Your work is great and gives me something to strive for.
thanks

If you do a google search for Redrummd knives I am pretty sure they link up to a few tutorials I have out in the Ethernet......
