I just ordered a K-bar potbelly. Ya'll got any good or bad experiences with this particular knife?

it's a terrible knife, send it to me :) okay, don't. hugely stout. choppery good.

only problem, is the new Machax will be better ;) :)

I've been on three fence with this one. However, I didn't know it had a .25 inch spine. Not sure about the Brown handles, but you can always get black ones (same grips as the Zombie knives). Would have to lose the orange cord.... But I might just give it a try.

It seems the only knives I buy anymore are made by Kabar.

It's a serious, thick, midsized to large knife with a long sweeping belly. It has good heft for chopping. I limbed an evergreen months ago when I first got mine. Went through the boughs like a laser. Touched it up and got it scary sharp on the Spydie sharpmaker.

After getting my BK9 today, it made up my mind to get the Potbelly. It looks like the BK2 and the BK9 got drunk and had a slightly crazy kid. Gotta love the 1/4" thick steel!
