ExtraBaconPlease and I both tried ordering from Swamp Rat over the weekend, but the order failed with the message:
"Something went wrong when trying to process your payment. Please review the
error message and try again:
The transaction has been declined because of an AVS mismatch. The address
provided does not match billing address of cardholder"
I tried three different cards, each from a different bank, and got the same message each time. All are cards I have used in the past with no issue whatsoever. I spoke to one of the banks today and they confirmed everything is fine at their end.
I've been emailing Shaley and it seems domestic orders are going through so it looks like it's an issue with their e-commerce provider and some international customers falling foul of something in the Address Verification Service process. Investigations are on-going.
Any other Rats (especially Aussie ones) had similar issues recently?
