I finished this one up recently, haven't made a sheath for it yet. It won best bowie and best of show at the Western Canada Knife Association show in Kamloops BC

Specs.
Blade is 9 1/4" from tip to guard. 1/4" thick with moderate distal taper.
14 3/8" overall length.
14oz
Balance is right at the plunge.

228 layers of Aldo's 15n20 and 1084 random pattern, forged the hard way.

Handle is Himalayan Rams horn, gifted to me by my good friend and fellow bladesmith Bruce Culberson.
All edges that could be exposed if the horn moves have been rounded over so there will never be any hot spots.
Guard is textured mild steel.
Spacer is engraved(by me) stainless with antique finish
Frame is coin edged stainless, also with antique finish.
Domed stainless pins
Finial is stainless carved into a flower. Skull crushing flower power:D

All comments and critique are welcome, as always.
Thanks for looking.
Darcy

Gorgeous knife, I like everything about it.

Excellent in every way Darcy!

I like the sleek and textured guard and pommel nut, The Ram horn brings it all together!

Congrats on the well deserved award.

That is "just right" in so many ways... the horn... the guard shape... the coined handle... the blade shape... the damascus.
Wow.

Beautiful knife and one I definitely wouldn't mind owning. Congrats really nice job on it.

If you guys think it looks good here, then you should see it in person. Definitely a well deserved best bowie and best in show award Darcy.
