i have used damascus many times, but this is my first project using damascus i made. a big thank you to david lavoie of new hampshire for inviting me up to his shop and showing me how to make cannister damascus. it is ball bearings and powdered steel. i got really lucky, there is not one pinhole, pit or any unwelded spot on the whole blade. it has a 10" blade 3/16" thick made by stock removal, black linen micarta handle, stainless guard, spacer and pin. the guard is press fitted and sealed with gflex epoxy. genuine crocodile and leather sheath. i hope you like it. thanks for looking.

Damn ! that is nice:cool:

Fantastic! The contrasts are so nice and, as always, your grinds/fit/finish and style is off the charts. :)

Love the 'gator and it's all so clean...fine pictures, too.

Great looking piece. I always liked blades with that "cable" look. I will admit that it feels to me like the sheath should have been black. But I love the sheath too. It just looks like it belongs to a different knife. Beautiful work.
