This one is called the Scrapper :) I moved some stuff in my shop and found some old end cut pieces of 4in wide steel. Too short for choppers but too thick for bushcraft knives. I came up with this simple clip point to find a use for good steel. Roughly 9 1/2in overall with a 5 1/8in blade tip to handle. The 5160 blade is 1/4in thick. To keep things down in weight, I used a full flat grind on the blade and drilled out the tang. That brought the weight down to 11oz on this one. The blade is about 1 5/8in wide at it's widest. I left the clip flat and with nice sharp 90% edges so it can be batoned and used for fire steel scraping. The scales are black G10 with swaged brass rods. I left the scales with a rasp finish as I prefer the texture.
