SOG should bring back the original Stingray

It has such a classic design as shown in the thread about 80's knives. Always wanted one, but could not afford it when they came out.

Doubt it will happen. The Stingray is one of the classic folders made by G.Sakai in Seki. That model was dropped early on, although others, such as the Tomcat and others remained, even after switching to the Arc-Lock. In 2016/17 SOG ended all production in Seki. They have focused on the XR-Lock and Taiwan manufacture. With the purchase of SOG by GSM, about the only thing one can expect would be a new model using that old name.
My last Seki SOG folder was the Tomcat 3.0 and now I wish I still had it. You can sometimes find the Stingray come up for sale here and there and on the Bay.
