I was privileged to get a chance to go to the Bladeshow this year to support my friend Tad as he went for his Mastersmith stamp and of course Tad succeeded with his usual humility and laid back attitude.

Of course it would have been rude to travel all that way and not bring anything home and particularly not to take one of Tad's five off his hands. Tad's Bowies were a mixture of elegance and deadliness and his dagger was a work of art but I fancied something different so decided to take this damascus hunter with me.

It has a blued damascus blade, stainless guard with inside mirror polished and a bog oak handle, which is one of the most comfortable handles I've ever held.

David Seward did the sheath to complete the whole package which is pretty nice if I do say so myself!IMG_4631.jpg

Great combo ya got there.....Lynch/Seward.....very nice and congratulations.

I've loved Tads work since I first saw it and began to follow it.

One day, hopefully one day soon.
