Sorry you don't like the EDC 91 Bravo, if you would like just send it back to me and I will refund your payment!!
This EDC is probably going to be a little smaller than I like. It feels really small compared to my normal knives that I carry for work (Militaries and Enduras etc) I'm thinking of putting it up for trade for a new Field Knife! Anyone? Brand new with factory sheath, Azwelke sheath and extra polished natural micarta scales. Just like I received it from Tommy yestereday!

It's no big deal really. I do like it, but I think I'd like the FK better. I'm kinda partial to bigger blades! I'll hang on to this one as trade fodder for a FK!

Are you into survive! Knifes at all or do you have your heart set on a fk

After much contemplation, I've decided to let go of my unused EDC. Nathan and Jo have been amazing to me in the purchasing process of my knife. When it seemed like my new knife had a unremoved burr, Nathan took it back, removed the burr and retested the knife to make sure it meets all of his specs. He even sent $10 back with the knife to cover my shipping costs.

Alas, I just don't find myself reaching for the knife on a everyday basis. That honor goes to my well-used Spyderco Sage 1 simply because it is easier to carry. The CPK EDC is the superior knife, far and away, however.

Therefore, my unused CPK EDC is up for trade. Only caveat is is that I'd like to trade it for cryptocurrency or cryptoassets: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, Ripple, Monero, IoTA etc. Keep in mind I'll be looking to trade at a limit value that'll depend on current market prices and my own future projections.

My EDC is:
Scales: Black (but looks more like a dark green-ish black)
Sheath: Vertical
Condition: As new. Has been handled outside of sheath, but not used to cut anything (besides the initial deburring and testing by Nathan as mentioned above)

Just need to know the price so I can decide whether I should open a crypto account

It all depends on the currency and the current market conditions (as well as future projections).

This trade would really only benefit someone who has been holding one of the aforementioned currencies for a while and could peel off a bit for the CPK EDC as a lower than market rate vs. USD. I wouldn't open up an account right now and buy Bitcoin, etc to trade with me. It wouldn't be worth it to you.

If, however, you've been holding bitcoin(s) for over a year then your value has skyrocketed. My goal for the trade is to lock in some bitcoin, ethereum or litecoin at a lower-than-market value. It's not a huge loss for someone who has been holding for a while and wants a CPK EDC. It would be bad deal for anyone who buys any of the currencies right now (because prices are way too high).

While I understand that it would be difficult based on what you are after... I believe you are required to list a price to sell here.

Unless this would be considered trade rather than a sale. I don't know, this stuff is weird to me.

You are indeed required to post a price.

Here you go
  1. Be 100% sure that you want to sell the item, have it in your possession and clearly list the selling price. There is no "testing the waters" or "gauge buyer interest". No auction or raffle type sale threads.
  2. No sales for third parties. If your "friend" wants an item sold, they must create their own account and list it themselves.
  3. Activate/Enable your ability to receive email and private messaging, from members, moderators, and administrators; you must also display your correct membership level.
  4. When describing your items, be honest and provide an accurate & detailed description of the item. Don't forget to mention defects, blemishes, new, used, or other problems. When in doubt, be pessimistic with your descriptions. If you have a problem being honest, upfront, and are unable to honor your word then you do not belong here.
  5. Provide as many photos as possible, in the best lighting possible. It's always nice for buyers to see what they are going to get. Threads with pictures sell items faster than those without. Keep in mind, gigantic photos take forever to load for some people and can be an eyesore, resizing to a reasonable size is advised
  6. Be specific with all details of payment. There is no eBay style auctioning allowed. If you want to entertain trade offers, say so in your sales thread (For Sale Or Trade); it is allowed.
  7. If you have a Gold or higher membership you may list currently active threads in your signature space. Please, no giant billboards and no links to eBay.
  8. Consolidate your 'like" items into a single thread. If you have multiple knives to sell, post them in a single thread. Or you can do different threads on different days. You are only allowed 1 sales thread, per day, per forum. If you list an item and it sells, don't start another thread in the same section until the next day. If a moderator consolidates your threads, edit the title and make any changes you need to. DO NOT START AN ALL NEW THREAD! Let's keep it fair for everyone.
  9. You must wait 14 days (2 week rule) to relist an item for the second time. Once you list an item for sale, that item cannot appear for a second time in a sales thread until 2 weeks have passed from the date of the original thread. Any changes made to your existing sales thread (withdrawing, editing price, etc.) must be made to that thread, don't start new threads with the same items. Use a calendar if you need to. You can link your sales threads to your signature space, but don't make it a giant billboard.
Here ya go-AGAIN

It is a bit unusual, but this is a buy, sell and trade thread, and I think it could be construed as being for trade for one or another "crypto currency", and as such it's a trade and doesn't need a price.

I'd prefer to see it listed for sale and a price assigned to it. That would be more clear and less confusing. However, I think as it is, it meets the requirements for trade on BF.

The "seller" might want to change his verbiage from "for sale" to "for trade". Otherwise it needs a price.
