There are lots of good fire starters, but not many with that high of a price tag. Is there a reason to justify the price as a survival item or are they more of a novelty?
Well this thing is (from what I can see from my couch) pretty well engineered to be used by anyone. It has a prohibitive price tag if you can use a ferro rod reliably or flint and steel. If you cannot use these well this is one heck of an emergency firestarter. But $60 is a heck of a chunk of money.....
this marketing is LMAO if you have ever used a rod before, this is BS marketing.
just get a ferror rod, if you want get one in a waterproof container to protect against oxidation... shouldnt cost too much at all. then some Fat Rope for tinder starting.
