Sure,why not.
Or not,either way works.
It'll still fit in a tin & feels so much better in hand.
I love to tinker with knives and I've put handles on a few so I thought I'd give a tin knife a new look.
The thumb notch is the result of a nick in the side of the blade while rough sanding on the belt sander at work.
I didn't want to spend the time hand sanding it out I so made the notch instead,& it actually feels good in hand.
I also ground down the harpoon point on the back of the blade for my fingers sake.
Natural Micarta with Black G9 pins & the blueing was applied with a Birchwood Casey touchup blueing pen, sheath by me also.
