Hi guys,
Can someone tell me anything about this black Pioneer?
It is a yard sale find from last week,I looked on sakwiky and I didn't found anything about it ... just the one with the red scales made until around 1999 ...
I asked on several SAK Facebook groups but no one could give me a link where to get more info.
Thanks all!

It may be a Victorinox custom order for a business enterprise or a knife club. Victorinox has done custom orders of black alox with a silver cross, like this:

Thanks to Eric at Le Forum du Couteau Suisse for the photo. He said only 50 of these were made.

Try posting in the Suisse Bianco forum. It doesn't look like Suisse Bianco's work, but someone there may know more.

Consider yourself lucky to have that. Old cross Pioneers are very collectible. Having one in black is just icing on the cake.:)

If I may ask, what did you have to give for it?

The silver cross on black Alox looks fantastic! That's a great score.
