Everyone here please post your reply's here about chef knives comes under ergonomic cutlery. I am just making the list of best chef knives comes in the category of ergonomic cutlery. Like this one..... Please comment your replies.

I much prefer the non-ergonomic types with the Japanese style handle that doesn't lock me into one grip.

When I started making kitchen knives, I thought the wa handles looked like an afterthought. I now know that is wrong. I try to steer customers to wa handles on all my kitchen knives now. After 1000 years refining design, they got it right.
 
Kitchen knives are a type where a simpler handle is often better. I laugh at these "super ergo" kitchen knife handles where it looks like they have taken a modeling clay "handprint" and 3D printed it in plastic.
 
I've been using kitchen knives in my career for over a decade and found the Japanese octagonal handles most comfortable for my 10 hour shifts.
