Picked up a couple boat anchors on my way across the state today. The leg vise is in as about as nice of shape as any I've seen in person. The fella had about 2 dozen to pick from.

(Let's see if this photo works)

It's been a long time since I've shared anything here so I thought I would share a knife that I finished a few weeks ago.

This was inspired by some of the smaller knives I've seen made by Don Fogg.

It was forged from an old USA-made file. The entire spine is chamfered, polished and then cold blued, and the choil is rounded. The handle wrap is impregnated with system three clear coat epoxy and it has a stingray under wrap.

Finished up tonight. This was forged by Theo Nazz, and I did the finishing work. The dagger is forged from W2 with an integral guard. There is a hamon, but I have it just ghosting so it doesn't show in the picture. Handle is curly koa with hidden pins because I didn't want to break the flow of the curl. It was a fun project. Theo is a bit bolder in his forging than I, so it pushed me in a good way to work out the finishing.

Wow I've been away for a few months and everything has changed lol
Glad to see some familiar faces. Hope to get back into the grind here soon

That is so sexy

Here's a hunter that I just finished last week. The blade is 1075 and the handle is Koa. I LOVE Koa. You can't ever get a good enough picture to show all of it's beauty. I feel very fortunate to be able to work with materials like this. Sorry for the poor pictures. It's something that I'm working on.
