When opening the corkscrew tool of the Victorinox Huntsman Swiss Army Knife, is it normal for large and small blades to lift up from the center?
When I open cork screw halfway, the large blade and the small blade on the opposite side of corkscrew lift up a little bit and settle back in the place when the corkscrew is fully open. It looks like something is wrong with the corkscrew’s opening mechanism.

Perfectly normal, I'd say, at least if it isn't a large amount (such as lifting the blade tips clear of the frame). The corkscrew rides on the back of the same spring and flexes it the same way that opening one or both of the blades does.

Any household mineral oil, such as 3-in-1, or even pharmacy grade mineral oil (baby oil without the scent) use a very small amount as it will attract lint and grit from your pocket. I use an old toothbrush to clean mine out once and a while, and use a toothpick to drip a tiny bit of oil into the pivots.
