Hey Scott,
Love the Polaris. Decided to give it a quick workout before the weekend. Batoned some seasoned red oak from the wood pile. The knife came through unscaved, that A2 is some tough stuff! Hats off to you and Estela.
For the curious viewers, I had Scott make some changes from the original design. Black liners and a forward lanyard hole. Sheath is different as well, a nylon loop to attach a biner to wear as a dangler.

This one wouldn't split all the way down, so I cross cut it.

Man all of these good comments on the Polaris have me second guessing my decision on ordering a kephart.

Shoot man, when I read the title of your post, I was gonna tell you that you shoulda bought a Honda. Polaris ATV's spend most of their time in the shop in my experience.

:)

Great knife, however, and batoning through oak's gotta be a chore!

Professor.

Glad you like it LT. Mike! Cross grain batonning is an awesome test and a way to make a deep stop cut. Awesome work brotha!
