Apparently, NY fashion magazines are even interested in multi-tools ...at least when they come from MoMA Design Store in NY:

The first reader comment is pretty funny. :D

"no cork screw, which indicates all business..."

They call that modern art? There are plenty of tools from Leatherman and Victorinox that look prettier.

I don't really know much about art, but I know what I like....and that isn't it. :D

having omitted any nail claw of a lifestyle hammer was pretty smart.
the maker of this franken-thingy demonstrates some understanding of engineering mechanics.
but disaster still awaits, with the spanner gaping ominously...
honestly, at the rate of useless imports flooding and piling up into the city these days;
in no time soon, there wouldn't be even enough space left for landfills.

I see these around here a lot, especially at Christmas, and again in the fall (I assume when kids get ready to go off to college). I also see a lot of them at Godwill & thrift stores, and broken ones at flea markets.

Not sure what twit engineer thought cast zinc would make a good hammer head, but hey, maybe they're counting on those college kids or housewives not having to actually hammer something . . .
