Don't laugh. This was my very first custom knife and first attempt at a "review". It's about four years old, and I still kick myself for parting with my first Fiddleback.

Great review! The pics are amazing. The edc 2 is a model I have always wanted to try but haven't had the chance.

Finally got to read your EDC II review & really appreciate your assessment of ergonomics. Handle profile of the EDC II surprised me especially compared with the Patch. (Love the patina on that Patch! Did you force that or is it just result of use?)

As I am looking for a fixed blade to carry every day, you now have me wondering which is more practical and comfortable for that purpose. Both may be serviceable, but in this category ease of carry and discretion is particularly important. Of the two, which would you choose and with what scales? That Shadetree burlap looks interesting.

The Patch patina is now part forced, part natural. Changing all the time.

Nice job Double Barrel! You incorporated all the elements of a good review to give the reader a good sense of what this model is like in person. I especially appreciated your commentary at the end where you compared it to the Patch and stated what you liked and disliked about the EDC II.

If you plan to keep this knife long term, then adding a slight radius to the sharp edges on the handle might make sense to improve your enjoyment of using it. I did that with one of my Fiddlebacks and now it is one of my most used knives because it fits my hand more comfortably in hard use.

Hey Phill. Awesome job on the lists of reviews. It helps so much to have all the links in one place. However, and I hate to be the one to say this, none of the links in the first post are working for me. The links in the second post all work fine but I'm getting a Not Found error. Even on the recent ones like Swonut's HB review. This could definitely be a problem on my end for some reason as nobody else has seemed to have this problem but I figured I should say something.

Again, thanks for all the work that you do with your posts in this forum and I hope I didn't just create more for you.
