ZT 300 vs 350

So I am contemplating picking up one of these bad boys to see what the buzz is all about. Does anyone have a picture of a 350 and a 300/301/302 for comparison?

Here is what has put me off until now:

-Height of the folder when closed (blade to spine). I get the impression this thin is as wide a Blackberry.
-Weight appears to be a heavier than average folder.

Help me spend some money wisely on a fine American knife.:)

Here are my ZTs in numerical order:;)

I've been carrying my ZT0301 almost every day since I got it and the size and weight aren't much of an issue to me, especially since I change to tip-up carry. The whole idea of a beefy Ti framelock makes this my current favorite.

The 0350 is even less noticeable in the pocket. The liner lock on it is as thick as many other frame locks. And the AO really snaps the blade open.

For the best bang for the buck a ZT blem is the way to go. My 0301 is a blem and the only thing wrong is the word "Speedsafe" isn't printed on the blade. Kershawguy usually has some good deals over in the Exchange on them.

Thank you for the picture PG. I think you are right on the money. The 301 has been grabbing my attention more and more lately. They are all S30V too right?

They are all S30V. I really like the 301. The 350 is really nice too but I hardly ever carry it. For me, when I need to carry a smaller knife, the 350 is too big, but when I am not worried about carrying something small, I would rather carry the 301.

Makes sense to me, I feel the same way. Love that red one you have. Great pick up.

Thanks! I really like it too!:) I also have a 302, but it is at getting some TLC from Kershaw right now. I just really love the 30x series.

Hey buddy. What about a Kershaw JYDII with Ti pants ? I scored a blem last week and it is a truly wonderful knife. :)

I PM'd KershawGuy and asked for the ZTs, and it turns out they are all on backorder. New and blems alike :(

To that I say, "Pics or it didn't happen!" :D

The 0200 is 154CM I think, the rest are S30V.

I really like the ZT folders, very heavy duty with good materials. Here is a lock comparison pic of the 0350 next to a 0300.

Here is a quick shot of a 0301, 0350CB, 1510 Random Task and a 1500ST Mini Task
The pic isn't that great but you get the idea.

I would personally go for the LE 0350 if I had the choice of either at this very moment.
Using ELMAX for the cutting edge. :)

Thanks for the pics. Is the ELMAX steel available in a sprint style run? I have not heard of that steel before.
Ok, so I'll get a 350, THEN start on the 30x series :D

Yep, sprint run of about 900pcs on the 0350CB.
ELMAX is also used in the upcoming release of the Speedform. :)

Hi,appreciate the pictures,very nice.
Can you give a few details on the Elmax steel?.
How does it compare with say the CPM S90V steel or the japanese SG2 steel.
Appreciate any info you can give, thanks.

Can't find the Elmax version.... :(

They're not available yet. They're still building them. ;)

You might have missed a previous 0350CB thread where I said:

They should be hitting the streets in a day or 2.
Look at your favorite ZT dealers the rest of the week.
I believe around 900pcs total for this LE run.
I know my bro 2BKC and Kershawguy will both have them.
MSRP is at $175.00

Crap, just noticed I said WILL have them. Correction then, they DO have them.
Not sure how many they have of each, but they probably won't last long.
:)
