You can buy the sharpmaker stones individually, I think the ultra fine is about $15! Even the notorious Canadian king of "edge junkies" uses them individually; see YT

I have multiple zt knives and I carry the 350 the most out of them. I like the 0566 but for some reason the 0350 just grew on me. I have de-assisted it and it is nice. I'm able to use the thumb studs now.
