I'm curious. Why would you think this was even a possibility given the knives, photographs and text from GEC so far?
If I'd seen the charred offering first, I might have skipped "regular" barrel oak, but I'm glad I ended up with this one: [img] [img]...
Maybe it's an artifact of where the steel barrel bands squish the wood down?
